The enchanting Batsi villageBatsi is considered by many as the tourist center Andros. Its picturesque architecture stems from its amphitheatric structure, the characteristic sandy beach (blue flag) and the modern marina. It is not a coincidence that in Batsi was a place for shooting classic films of the Greek cinema like “Foustokallassies” and “Girls in the sun”.

Batsi is also known for its intense nightlife. Bars for all musical tastes are scattered around the village. Many cafes are located on the beach, the narrow streets or around the square, ideal for a calm morning coffee. Batsi has many restaurants serving fresh fish, local specialities and cosmopolitan dishes. Apart from Batsi beach in few minutes walk the visitor can swim at other beaches, like Stivari, the Delavogia Beach and Agia Marina which are hidden in small bays very close to the village.

Near Batsi there are many smaller or bigger villages such as Aprovato, Katakoilos, Remata and Arni. In these beautiful villages, you will find running waters, mansion houses and traditional taverns offering their own products in a beautiful setting.
